地名与地理[edit]
翔山因境内多山而得名。村民聚居在吾峰山北麓，多呈块状，海拔从430米到855米，属亚热带润湿气候。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
此地先前属二十八都；民国时称翔云保，解放后成为翔云乡的翔山村。1958年公社化后，有了翔山大队的名称。1984年起为翔云乡翔山村委会，1991年12月才叫翔云镇翔山村委会。[1]
村务与设施[edit]
村委会设福居，村下有32个自然村。山地3079亩，耕地1511亩；村民679户、3519人分属18个村民小组。[1]
村中设水电站一座，小学、卫生院各一所。作物以水稻与甘薯为主，林果则有松木、杉木、龙眼、桃李和酸笋。[1]
名胜[edit]
村内有中峰院、古寺院，以及宫殿八九座。二十世纪，后格小组的村民修整了几棵松树，砌墙维护，设置了后格园。[1]
