椒岭村隶属翔云镇，位于镇驻地西南约1.9公里处，村委会驻岭头，平均海拔650米。[1]
地名与历史[edit]
因境内岭头一带种植花椒，故名椒岭。[1]
村子原属二十八都，1958年改设椒岭大队。1984年起成为翔云乡的椒岭村委会，1991年12月又改为翔云镇椒岭村委会。[1]
该村是省定革命老区基点村。抗战时期，原海军司令员彭德清曾到村中高院一带从事地下革命活动。[1]
地理环境[edit]
村委会驻岭头。东面到翔云村，西面与安溪县龙门村相接，南边是圳林村，北边则与安溪县交界。全村有科坂、内光内、高院、中角、佳仁5个自然村，8个村民小组，面积3平方千米。[1][2]
人口与经济[edit]
山地320亩，耕地361亩；作物以水稻、甘薯、菱白为多，土特产是茶叶。村民224户、1111人。[1]
村中有小学1所，设卫生所、茶坊与大深水库。水泥路连接翔云与安南公路。[1]
茶叶[edit]
上世纪60、70年代，椒岭的茶叶屡次在晋江地区的质量评比中得奖，其中铁观音、本山两个品种都有获奖记录。[1]
