金安村隶属翔云镇，位于翔云镇政府驻地约0.8公里处，村委会设在内厝。全村下辖8个自然村。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村子原属二十八都，民国年间分属金柄保与安中保。解放后各取两保的首字，称金安乡；1958年实行公社化，划入翔云大队，1980年从中分出，单独设立金安大队。[2]

1984年以后成为翔云乡的金安村委会；1991年12月，又更名为翔云镇金安村委会。[2]

人口与经济[edit]

耕地2430亩，山地910亩。以水稻、甘薯为主要作物，经济作物有油茶和茶叶。全村村民559户、1995人。[2]

村中设有中学一所、中心幼儿园一所，还有粮站、林场与水电站。通往翔云与安南公路的是水泥路。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

翔云革命烈士纪念碑位于村境美格山上，百度百科则作美格亭后山，并将其定为县级烈士纪念设施。[3][4]

荣誉[edit]

村庄先后被评为「先进基层党组织」「农村环境卫生整治合格村」「文明村」，2009年初又由市委与市政府授予「2008年南安市社会主义新农村建设示范村二等奖」。[2]
