坂头村位于南安市西部，在芹山北麓，东与紫山村为邻，西与仕林村交界，是英都镇辖下的行政村。[1]村中建有坂头水库，1970年建成，为中型水库。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

坂头村旧称南安县二十八都下塘保，村名来自驻地所在的坂头自然村。解放后一度设为榜林乡，1958年又成了榜林大队，隶属英都公社。1965年社会主义教育运动期间，此地析为坂头、仕林两个大队；1984年称坂头村委会。[1][2]

红色历史与水库[edit]

解放前，此地是安南同一带地下党和游击队活动频繁的地区，村里曾成立一个地下党小组。村属南安市的老区基点村。[1]

坂头水库由南安水电局管辖，库中出产的鲢鱼味道鲜美，吸引各地食客前来。[1]
