荣星村位于英都镇镇区中心，在翁山脚下的英溪河畔，东与民山村、英东村接壤，是英都镇的政治、文化和交通中心。[1][2]村中有翁山洪氏家庙和英都革命烈士纪念碑。[2][5]

历史沿革[edit]

村名原作「荣山境」，因位于荣山（即洞后寨）东麓而得名。此地解放前属荣山保；解放初又与民生保并为一处，称民山乡。1954年办农业合作社时，村里另立荣星社，后来以之为生产队名。1984年归英都乡，设荣星村委会，1986年改隶英都镇。[2][4]

名胜古迹[edit]

翁山洪氏家庙又称五世宗祠，位于凤山东麓，坐西朝东，始建于明万历丁巳年（1617年），此后数次修葺，20世纪90年代重修，成为园林式的宗祠建筑群。[2]

英都革命烈士纪念碑建成于1999年8月，碑上镌刻25位革命烈士的英名，其中16人牺牲于本地的革命战斗。[2][5]百度百科将其列为县级烈士纪念设施。[3]

村中的英山岩是英都古代七岩八院之一。明代中叶，此地的水沟馆曾作为英都乡学，洪承畴少年时曾入馆读书。[2]

经济与荣誉[edit]

村里地少人多，过去的生计多靠理发、缝纫、打铁一类手艺和小买卖；改革开放后，许多人外出推销水暖产品。[2]2021年11月，村被评为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
