民山村位于英都镇镇区中心，东接紫山一带，西与霞溪村隔溪相望，是英都镇的第三大行政村。[1][2][3]村中有昭惠庙，泉州市文物名录列有此庙。[5][6]

历史沿革[edit]

解放初，民生、荣山两保合为一处，称民山乡。1958年以后成为民山大队；1984年成立英都乡下的民山村委会，次年划为英都镇的民山村委会。[2][4]

人口与产业[edit]

村中以洪姓为多，占人口最多的是洪氏一族，有史记载的洪氏世系将近八百年。[2]村民以务农为根本，水暖阀门器材是村里的骨干产业，水暖水表工厂有好几家，货品远销国内各省市及东南亚一带。[2][3]

名胜古迹[edit]

昭惠庙位于村中。据百度百科，庙宇始建于南宋淳祐年间，主祀海神仁福王并配祀郑和，是九日山昭惠庙的分灵；泉州市文物名录则将其年代标为清代。[3][6]

博雅地名网另记村中有昭惠庙木雕佛像一尊，断代为明清，其身份是南安市第四批市级文物保护单位。此外，据百度百科，葛岸王爷馆是一座南宋古建筑。[3][5]
