雪峰村位于东田镇政府驻地西面约7.2公里处，聚落分布在鸡冠山北麓的山坡间，村委会设在内厝。[1][2]当地冬春时节常有霜雪，素有「雪霜之乡」的称呼，村名「雪峰」即由鸡冠山北麓的位置而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放初，雪峰与格头并为一个乡；到1958年，此地成为雪峰大队。[1]1984年起隶属东田乡，1991年改隶东田镇。[1]百度百科记载其古地名为「切桑」。[2]

地理与产业[edit]

村内有芹山林场，并有民用石材加工厂。耕地以水稻、甘薯为主，山地以马尾松为主。[1]
