园内村位于省新镇东北部，距镇政府约3公里，泉永公路与泉三高速都经过村境。[1][2]村名来自村部所在的园内自然村，村内共有六柱、乌厝门、艺星、园内4个村落。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

园内原属南厅大队，南厅大队后拆成五个大队，其中以六柱、乌厝门、衙内、园内四个自然村合设一个大队。1980年，园内由南厅大队析出，自成一队；1985年改属美林乡，1987年划入美林镇，1999年归省新镇。[1][2]

人口与土地[edit]

村内单姓为尤氏，设8个村民小组，有村民596户、1902人。耕地约300亩，山地1600多亩，种植水稻、甘薯、甘蔗、大豆和花生，林果有松木、杂木、毛竹、龙眼、杨梅和芒果。[2]

设施与水利[edit]

村中修有8米宽的水泥村道，连接泉永公路，通往各村落的水泥路都装有路灯。村中设有宫边水库和细坑水库，并有省新镇文化中心与老年协会等设施。[2]

荣誉[edit]

园内村2022年12月获福建省绿化委员会授予「2022年福建省森林村庄」称号。2022年11月，此村入选泉州市中级版「绿盈乡村」名单。2025年1月，它列入2024年度南安市「和谐村（社区）」名单。[1]
