珠渊村隶属南安市美林街道，位于街道驻地西北约8.7公里处，村委会设在山脚自然村，辖山脚、顶街、中角、科瓦等自然村。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

相传宋代朱文公（朱熹）途经此地，沿西溪北岸观望后说此处水湾深、必聚大鱼。后来有渔船到此捕鱼，果然收获颇丰，人们便以「鱼跃于渊，出言如珠」赞颂他，并把此地称为珠渊。[2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

民国年间属崇仁乡珠渊保。解放后仍称珠渊村，1958年设珠渊大队，1985年归美林乡管辖为村委会；1988年改属美林镇，1999年起为美林街道的珠渊村委会。[2]

经济[edit]

村境内盛产茶叶和芒果。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2020年12月，村庄被认定为「2020年泉州市中级版绿盈乡村」。2021年2月，列入福建省2018至2020年度省级文明村镇社区名单。福建省农业农村厅于2022年10月予以认定，村庄成为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。2024年1月，村庄被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。2025年1月，上榜「2024年度南安市和谐村（社区）」名单。2025年3月，被命名为「第七届全国文明村镇」。[2]
