地名由来[edit]
村庄位于西溪北岸，一条发源于英仔山南麓的小溪在村境内注入西溪，村名因此取作「溪口」。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
民国年间此地属崇仁乡珠溪保。解放后名为溪口村。1958年时其名改为溪口大队；1982年再分出溪二大队；1985年为美林乡溪二村委会，1999年改隶美林街道。[2][3]
荣誉[edit]
2024年1月，村庄上榜「2023年度南安市和谐村（社区）」名单。[2]
