坵洋村隶属南安市美林街道，位于南安市北部，在南安火车站北侧，与省新镇接壤。[1][2]

村域面积约3.5平方公里，截至2007年12月底总人口为3738人，998户。[3]

地名由来[edit]

早年邱氏先民来此开基立业，此后以方言谐音称作「坵洋」。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时期此地属崇仁乡南川保。解放后划为南金乡胜利社，之后并入五星大队。1958年设坵洋村委会，之后为美林公社的坵洋大队；1984年为美林乡的坵洋村委会，1988年改属美林镇，1999年随街道设置改为美林街道所辖的坵洋村委会。[2]

地理环境[edit]

村域处于西溪支流坵洋溪一带，山林茂密，耕地1040亩，山地760亩。全村分为13个组，形成官田、坵洋、坝兜、茶林、小溪桥五个片落。[3]

经济[edit]

村内兴办的企业包括茶叶加工、石材加工、密胺餐具、机砖厂等四十余家，并有农林牧业。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2020年12月，村庄被认定为「2020年泉州市中级版绿盈乡村」。[2]
