金枝村隶属南安市美林街道，位于街道驻地东面约6公里处，村委会设在沟边自然村，下辖西头、下五、油园、中角、下寮等自然村。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

村名原作「金圳」，后因方言谐音雅化为「金枝」。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

元、明、清三代属二十二都；民国时归福川乡，称金圳保。解放后因方言读音雅化，改称金枝。1958年设大队，1984年为美林乡所属的村委会，1988年改属美林镇，1999年起属美林街道。[2]

文化[edit]

2021年2月，金枝村列入福建省2018至2020年度省级文明村镇社区名单。[2]
