梅亭社区隶属南安市美林街道，原为梅亭村，位于街道驻地东北约1.5公里处，村委会设在梅亭自然村。[1][2]

村内有梅亭、后山两个自然村，聚落分布在丘陵河谷之间。[2]

地名由来[edit]

村名以驻地命名。该地旧属崇仁乡梅亭里，元、明、清时期属二十三都。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

解放后称梅亭村，1958年公社化时期设梅亭大队，1985年为美林乡所辖的梅亭村委会，1988年改属美林镇，1999年起改称美林街道的梅亭村委会。[2]

经济[edit]

2020年9月，阿里研究院公布「2020年淘宝村」名单，社区列入其中。2021年10月，「2021年淘宝村」名单由南京大学空间规划研究中心与阿里研究院共同发布，社区再度入选。2022年10月，「2022年淘宝村」名单发布，社区又一次上榜。[2]
