祥堂村属南安市柳城街道，为其下辖的行政村。村委会设于庵后自然村，聚落在大塔寨山北麓的丘河谷盆地上，略呈椭圆形；村辖庵后、树垵、尾瑶、路墘4个自然村。[1][2]

名称与历史沿革[edit]

村名“祥堂”有“如意吉祥”之意。1979年，村自原大队析出，设立祥堂大队；1984年改为祥堂村委会。[1][2]

人口与物产[edit]

村设11个村民小组，共850户2845人，百度百科称户籍人口2845人。村内耕地853亩，山地3200亩，主要种植水稻、小麦、花生和甘薯，盛产龙眼、杨梅等林果。[1][2]

名胜古迹[edit]

李贽纪念祠坐落在榕桥片区内、祥堂与西坪两村之间，始建于清道光年间，祭祀李贽等先贤先祖。祠堂为坐东向西的家庙，二落三开间，硬山顶，燕尾脊。祠内有李贽生平展厅；石鼓山上另立有李贽石雕像。[1][2]

开化洞阿弥陀佛造像位于柳城街道祥塘村（即本村），为南宋石刻，属第五批福建省文物保护单位，2001年1月20日公布。[3]

村内现存明代天启二年（1622年）所立的《王侯重建五星桥记》石碑，记载李贽族亲李瑀重建五星桥之事。第四次全国文物普查新发现的不可移动文物名录也列入了该碑，名为榕桥王侯重建五星桥记碑。[2][4]

大塔寨山顶存有明代石塔与寨墙遗迹，遗址占地约300平方米。[2]

人物[edit]

博雅地名网称本村是明代思想家李贽的故乡；百度百科则称本村系李贽故里，并为诺贝尔化学奖得主李远哲的祖籍地。[1][2]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，福建省爱卫办命名本村为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1][2]
