柳城街道是福建省泉州市南安市下辖的街道，位于南安市区东南部，东与霞美镇相接，西连溪美街道，北面隔西溪与美林街道相望。街道辖6个社区居委会和9个行政村，总面积71.9平方千米，其中市区面积25.5平方千米。1999年1月，柳城街道从原溪美镇拆出设立。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

柳城一带的开发可上溯至晋代以前，宋代属归善乡崇善里。[2] 1937年7月，南安县治由丰州迁至此地，当地沿用丰州的别称“柳城”。[2] 街道名称承袭南安“千年古郡”的美称。[3]

2011年4月，环境保护部授予街道「2011年度国家级生态乡镇」称号；2021年2月，街道入选「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单。[2]

人口[edit]

2023年的街道文件载，柳城街道常住人口9.45万人，另有柳城籍华侨、华人和港澳台同胞3万多人。[3]

名胜古迹[edit]

三堡村境内的白云寺为清代古建筑，属南安市级文物保护单位。通郭桥为元代石墩石梁桥，据《泉州府志》载建于元大德十年（1306年），也是市级文物保护单位。[2][8]

祥堂村境内的开化洞阿弥陀佛造像为南宋石刻，为福建省级文物保护单位。[6] 同村的李贽纪念祠始建于清道光年间，祀明代思想家李贽等先祖。[2] 第四次全国文物普查又在祥堂村登记了明代的榕桥王侯重建五星桥记碑。[4]

露江村的柳城赵氏大宗祠建于清代。[4] 下都社区田洋自然村的下都吴声梓宅，是旅居新加坡的华侨吴声梓于1941年所建的民国时期华侨宅院，2026年3月列入南安市第六批市级文物保护单位。[5]

著名人物[edit]

李贽1527年生于福建泉州，明代思想家。1984年重编《南安县志》考据史料，认为其祖籍在今柳城街道榕桥胭脂巷，并把他算作南安榕桥李氏的第八代先祖。[7] 南安市政府文件还称，当代学者林东海、医学家林巧稚与诺贝尔化学奖获得者李远哲也以柳城为故乡。[3]
