历史沿革[edit]
社区因南面有崎峰山而得名。[1]此地旧属南安三十一都，民国时期称崎口乡，解放后才把“口”字换成“峰”字。[2][3]
公社化之后，1958年设崎峰大队；1984年成为崎峰村委会；2003年则称溪美街道崎峰社区。[1][3]
地理环境[edit]
社区东临西溪，西接莲塘村，南与贵峰村为界，北连市区；辖区水量充沛，是西溪与兰溪两条水域的交汇处。[2]
文化[edit]
社区先后获「泉州市先进社区」「南安市文明社区」等称号，并被南安市委、市政府确认为「基本实现宽裕型小康村（居）」。[2]
