安平开发区是晋江市安海镇辖区内的一片工业开发区，建在安平桥南侧的滩涂半岛上，始建于20世纪90年代初。[1][2]

1990年12月，泉州市安平开发建设有限公司成立，1991年6月开工建设，计划在这里建成一座可容纳约两万人的轻工业新镇。[1] 2018年5月，经晋江市政府同意，设立了安平社区，其办公地址就在开发区内的碧海五路。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1984年，泉州侨乡开发协会建议开发安海湾，范围包括安海、东石、水头、石井四镇的海域。1985年3月，晋江地区召开专门会议，组织可行性研究，并对海岸线、水域和地貌作了全面勘测。[1]

1988年初，泉州市委把安平、蟠龙的成片综合开发列入议事日程。[1] 1990年5月，城镇国有土地使用权出让的暂行规定和外商投资开发成片土地的管理办法施行，开发有了依据。[1]

1990年12月，新加坡实业家黄加种担任董事长，泉州市安平开发建设有限公司在此时成立，1991年3月正式开业。同年6月6日，泉州市安平工业综合开发区动工，各级领导出席了奠基典礼。[1]

维基百科称安平开发区1991年成立。[3] 据《晋江安平湾开发始末》，安平是国内第一块由外商独资开发的成片开发区。[1]

地理环境[edit]

开发区所在的是安海湾内安平桥南侧的一块滩涂半岛，俗称龙舌尾。半岛三面环海，北面紧邻安海旧镇，西面与水头镇相望，原为安海古港淤积而成的大片滩涂。[1]

半岛总面积2.15平方公里，开发工程在2054亩低洼滩涂上展开。[1]

基础设施[edit]

开发初期，先完成供水、排水、排污、供电、通讯、道路与场地平整等基础工程，称「六通一平」。[1]

安平自来水厂规模为日供水2.5万吨，首期日供水5000吨，从南安石壁水库引水，已投入运行。安平电力有限公司的股东为香港封域发展有限公司和省电力发展公司，建设11万伏输变电站，与官桥22万伏输变电系统相连。[1]

区内首家工业项目是安平工业有限公司的金刚石厂，据该文所述，它生产出福建省第一批金刚石产品。[1]

行政设置[edit]

2018年5月，经晋江市政府同意，设立了安平社区，社区办公地址在开发区碧海五路，社区隶属安海镇。[2][4]

社区管辖的土地约1.55平方公里，编为19块，前七块以商住与居住用途为主，其余十二块属工业用地。[2]
