思进村是晋江市西滨镇的一个行政村，2000年建村，是晋江市首个成建制接收三峡库区移民的安置点。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
2000年9月，为配合三峡水电站工程，重庆市奉节县白帝镇的三峡库区移民迁来此地，首批移民即为本村的开村居民；博雅地名网称，当时约300名库区移民落户西滨镇。[1][3]
村名取自移民安置时的一次学习教育活动。当时正开展「富而思源，富而思进」的主题教育，为鼓励移民艰苦创业、发奋有为，经政府批准，将该村命名为思进村。[1][2]
村落于2012年重建。[1]
2021年2月，村入选「福建省2018—2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单。[1]

村位于晋东平原东部，东面接跃进村，西北与海滨社区相邻。[1][2]
