西滨镇是福建省泉州市晋江市的一个镇，处在晋江市东南部的沿海平原上，辖区面积约2.1平方千米。镇名出自西滨农场，农场所在的土地原由华侨围海而成。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

西滨一带的土地，原是陈埭西滨林氏华侨在解放前围海造田得来的。新中国成立后，土地收归国有，并开始设立国营农场。关于农场创办的年份，百度百科记为1951年5月创办县国营农场，博雅地名网与维基百科则作1955年建西滨农场。[1][2][3][4]

镇名与农场有关。维基百科称，建农场时因毗邻陈埭镇的西滨村而取名西滨，镇名沿用了农场的名字；博雅地名网另有一说，认为地处滨海之西故名，又称「西边」。[2][3]

1991年，西滨农场在原有基础上改设镇建制，并设立镇人民政府。[1][2][4]

2020年至2022年，西滨镇连续三次列入阿里研究院发布的「淘宝镇」名单。2021年2月，西滨镇又上榜「福建省2018—2020年度省级文明村镇社区」的名单。[4]

地理环境[edit]

西滨镇位于晋江市东南部的沿海平原，地势平坦，土壤肥沃，水利条件较好，传统上以种植水稻为主。[3][4]

镇域东面与军垦农场相接，西面和北面与陈埭镇相邻，南面邻接石狮市。[2][3]

人口民族[edit]

户籍人口与上文的常住人口不是同一口径：2024年末全镇户籍人口为1782人，共633户。[5]

经济[edit]

据2019年的统计，西滨镇有工业企业120家，其中规模以上的35家；另有营业面积超过50平方米的综合商店或超市7家。[1]

据2002年的统计，全镇有乡镇企业76家，主要产品为拖鞋和鞋材。[2]
