紫湖村隶属福建省泉州市晋江市紫帽镇，位于晋江市西北部、紫帽山风景区南麓，下辖寮内、井尾、砌田、新村四个自然村[1][2]。村名来自紫帽山的水流长年潜入此地，冲刷形成湖泊[2]。

历史沿革[edit]

1992年撤乡建镇后，村委会改称紫帽镇紫湖村委会；1984年时为紫帽乡紫湖村[2]。更早，1961年划属紫帽山农场紫湖大队，1959年归磁灶公社紫湖大队管辖，民国33年（1944年）属梅溪乡紫园保，明清时属三十二都[2]。

2007年，紫湖村被列为晋江市新农村建设示范村[3]。

地理环境[edit]

村内地下水资源丰富，周边分布有饮用水生产企业[3]。因地处紫帽山风景区，为保护景区与周边环境，村内多年来少有新建房屋[3]。

文化[edit]

2021年11月，紫湖村获福建省爱卫办授予「2021年福建省卫生村」称号[2]。2022年10月，紫湖村入选「2022年淘宝村」名单[1][2]。2024年6月，村子上榜「福建省第四批高级版绿盈乡村」名单[2]。
