紫星村隶属福建省泉州市晋江市紫帽镇，位于镇域西北角，与南安交界，辖白堀后、大夫第、金星、古楼、下溪园、顶溪园、祖厝七个自然村[1][2]。村名取自紫帽山的“紫”与七个自然村散布山旁、如星罗棋布的景象，合称“紫星”[2]。

历史沿革[edit]

1992年撤乡建镇后，村委会更名为紫帽镇紫星村委会；1984年时它是紫帽乡紫星村委会[2]。此前，1961年划入紫帽山农场，再往前原属南安县[2]。

地理环境[edit]

紫溪水库位于村北，溪水经紫溪流入霞茂村一侧。303县道经村内，连接南安金星村[4]。

姓氏宗族[edit]

村中的姓氏只有王姓一种[2]。大夫第自然村因明代出过一名大夫而得名[2]。

革命史迹[edit]

白堀后、古楼两个自然村是「革命老区基点村」，曾作为游击队的活动据点[2]。

名胜古迹[edit]

紫星佛教石刻位于顶溪园自然村，刻于明永乐八年（1410年），2013年2月5日公布为晋江市第五批市级文物保护单位[2][3]。

文化[edit]

2020年12月，紫星村入选「2020年福建省森林村庄」名单[2]。紫星村于2021年11月获福建省爱卫办授予「2021年福建省卫生村」称号[2]。
