园坂村隶属福建省泉州市晋江市紫帽镇，是该镇的一个行政村，坐落在晋江市西北、紫帽山东南麓一带，南面临近324国道，离泉州市区约6公里[1][2]。村名与古时遍植桃树的坡地有关，旧称苦桃园坂村[2]。村中有济阳楼、白洋楼等历史建筑，现代诗人蔡其矫的故居也在村内[1][3]。
历史沿革[edit]
1992年撤乡建镇后，本村改称紫帽镇园坂村委会；1984年起它是紫帽乡下属的村委会[2]。此前的归属多有变化：1961年划入紫帽山农场，设园坂管理区；1959年属磁灶公社塘头大队；1956年归池店区紫帽乡；1950年属晋江第四区[3]。再往前，民国时期属梅溪乡紫园保，明清时属泉州府南门外三十二都[2]。
地理环境[edit]
村域面积约3平方公里，未注明年份，据博雅地名网与百度百科所载[2][3]。背靠紫帽山脉，村中仙洞桥水库建于1958年[3]。
姓氏宗族[edit]
村内有蔡、黄、陈、张、苏五个姓氏，以蔡姓居多[2]。村中的蔡氏宗祠建于2006年，石木结构，仿古式样[3]。
名胜古迹[edit]
仙洞桥水库边的石崖洞里有一尊青石释迦牟尼像，博雅地名网将其定为宋时期的造像，周边已辟为仙洞桥公园[3]。
白洋楼建于1934年，仿西洋样式，是水泥结构的楼房，为蔡其矫的故居，经晋江市政府列为历史文化保护单位[3]。
济阳楼位于村北区22号，属近现代重要史迹，列入市级文物保护单位[4][5]。金粟洞与李卓吾妻黄宜人墓同在紫帽山南麓，均为市级文物[5][6]。紫帽山崖刻也是市级文物，年代为宋至清[5][7]。
抗战与解放战争时期，司马文森曾在紫坂小学任教，并在村中开展地下党活动[3]。
文化[edit]
明万历年间，村中出过进士蔡增誉，后任江西按察使与布政使司右参政[3]。
2007年2月，村子被晋江市委、市政府评为文明村[3]。园坂村于2021年11月获福建省爱卫办授予「2021年福建省卫生村」称号[2]。
