谢厝街村位于英林镇东南沿海，在金井至东石公路中段北侧，龙湖至下伍堡公路南端东侧。村下设谢厝街、东村和内厝三个自然村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明、清属晋江县南门处十一都，民国时属金井乡港垵保。1956年划归金井区，1958年改设金井乡并入金井人民公社，1961年增设英林人民公社，本村划入其中。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
村中有新建的谢氏家庙，并设有公共戏台。[2]
经济[edit]
村民以农业为主，种植地瓜、花生和蔬菜。产业以服装为主，中小型企业多为家庭式经营。[2]
