陈山村位于英林镇西部，距镇区约1公里，四面环山，村内有大觉山、摇鼓石山和仙山。村名为古地名，因陈氏最早在此山开基而得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明、清时属十四都，1944年（民国33年）隶英林镇龙山保。此后曾归金井区，1959年划入东石公社，1961年成为英林公社陈山大队；1984年起称英林镇陈山村委会。[1]

经济[edit]

村中出产花岗岩，百余年来，村民多以开采和打石为生。如今村内有石板材和石雕加工厂。[1]
