巴厝村位于永和镇南部，东面与内厝村相邻，北面隔着塘下村。据博雅地名网，这里是石材的发源地[1][2]。

地理与人口[edit]

巴厝村位于晋江市东部，距晋江市区约20公里，离镇政府约6公里[1]。村子东面挨着内厝村，南边与邵厝村接界，西边连接西坑村，北边隔着塘下村[1]。

全村辖巴厝、柯西、小坑园三个自然村，以巴厝自然村为主村，共18个村民小组[1]。2021年村情汇总表记载，村内有1200户，女性2350人、男性2470人，总人口4820人；常住人口同为4820人，60岁及以上655人[1]。

外出流动人口762人，约占15.81%，主要前往厦门、山东和广东，从事经商和务工。经商的有人开小超市，也有人做石材加工[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，村子明清时属十二都，民国时属康乐乡。1961年划归永和公社巴厝大队，1984年起为永和乡下的巴厝村委会，1991年再改归永和镇[2]。

荣誉[edit]

2024年1月，巴厝村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」[2]。
