地理与人口[edit]
村子南面与旦厝村相接，西面连着后埔村，北面与玉湖村毗邻[1]。村内有东茂、坝边两个自然村，共设9个村民小组，有226户，总人口867人，女性434人，男性433人[1]。
2021年村情汇总表记载，常住人口867人，60岁及以上146人。外出流动人口300多人，约占全村人口的25.7%，主要前往香港、澳门和菲律宾，多从事经商[1]。村里的产业以淘宝网络销售和服装制造加工为主[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，割山明清时属十四都，民国后归至善乡彭田保管辖，建国初年曾在栖梧区彭田乡之下，又经龙湖公社的一段时期，1961年起归永和公社管辖[2]。1984年为永和乡下的割山村委会，1991年划归永和镇[2]。
