旦厝村位于晋江市东部、永和镇东北部，距镇政府约3公里，北面与石狮服装城相连[1]。村名原为檀树村，因「檀」「旦」读音相近，又便于书写，才改称旦厝[2]。

地理与人口[edit]

村子东边和南边与龙湖镇西吴村为邻，西边连着割山村，北边与石狮服装城相接[1]。全村只有旦厝一个自然村，设11个村民小组，共369户[1]。

2021年村情汇总表记载，村内总人口1397人，女性701人、男性696人；常住人口同为1397人，60岁及以上235人。外出流动人口300多人，约占全村人口的21.5%，多前往港澳和菲律宾，从事经商和务工[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，此地明清时隶属十四都。民国后归至善乡屏南保管辖，建国后曾归栖梧区福林乡，之后龙湖公社也管过一段时间，1961年起才由永和公社统辖[2]。1984年，旦厝改为永和乡下的村委会，1991年又改归永和镇[2]。

经济与荣誉[edit]

村内以服装加工业为主要产业[2]。2022年10月，旦厝村列入淘宝村名单[2]。
