龙埔村位于龙湖镇西南侧，距镇区约4公里，下辖龙埔一个自然村。[1][3]

村址建在山坡上，蜿蜒如龙，故名龙埔。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代属安仁乡弦歌里，明清时为十七、十八都地；1944年属英林镇的龙山保。[2]

1956年划入龙湖乡，1961年归龙湖公社龙埔大队，1984年设龙湖乡龙埔村委会，1991年改隶龙湖镇。[2]

人口民族[edit]

据博雅地名网概况，全村户籍人口914人，计314户，以施姓为多，刘姓为少数。[3]

在港、澳、台的同胞，以及在菲律宾、新加坡、泰国定居的华侨，数量也不少。[3]

村里以农业为主，全村农田约600亩，有一家泉州市菜篮子工程龙头企业。[1]
