古盈村位于龙湖镇政府驻地西南约0.2公里，在阳溪北侧、泉州至金井公路西侧，下辖古盈、中山街2个自然村。[1][3]

村名古称古营，相传是元兵聚集的营地，后因“营”“盈”同音而改为古盈。[2]

地名由来[edit]

另一说法称，此地古时吴姓聚居，曾名吴营，后改称古盈。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

明清属十七、十八都，1944年属至善乡中正保。[3]

1956年划入湖北乡，1961年归龙湖公社管辖，1985年自原大队分出，设古盈村委会，1991年改隶龙湖镇。[2][3]

人口民族[edit]

龙湖镇政府2021年公布的行政村信息载，村里常住2245人，外来人口916人，党员41名。[1]

经济[edit]

村里以农业为主，兼营民营，多见服装、五金行业。[3]

村内的规模企业包括信鑫拉链织造、汇通盈丰服装实业等；村中服装、拉链织造为主要产业。[1]
