埔锦村位于龙湖镇北部，全村3个自然村，分别是火辉埔（亦作火夫埔）、东厝和倒石埔。[1][2]

村名的雅称埔锦，原称火灰埔，因旧时此地荒坡上有人烧草木灰作肥料出售而得名。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代属安仁乡弦歌里，明清属十七、十八都，1944年属霞坡乡新街保。[2]

1956年划入石龟乡，1961年归龙湖公社管辖，1985年自原大队分出，设埔锦村委会，1991年改隶龙湖镇。[2]

人口民族[edit]

龙湖镇政府2021年公布的行政村信息载，村里常住1560人，党员36名，外来人口1946人。[1]

村中以许氏为最多，其余还有黄、陈、曾、王等姓，其裔分衍港澳台及菲律宾等地。[2]

经济[edit]

村里的产业以拉链、服装、五金、漂染和电子为主，规模以上企业有7家。[1]

集体产权改革[edit]

2017年，埔锦村被列为晋江市农村集体产权制度改革试点。[1]

2018年7月，倒石埔完成改革，成立了倒石埔股份经济合作社，据政府资料，该合作社被认为是全省首个以自然村为单位成立的股份经济合作社。该合作社建有锦峰物流园，2019年实现第一次股份分红。[1]

2020年9月、2021年10月和2022年10月，埔锦村先后上榜阿里研究院公布的淘宝村名单。[2]
