历史沿革[edit]
宋代属安仁乡弦歌里，明清属十六都，1944年属英林镇浔湖保。[2]
1956年划入龙湖乡，1961年设龙湖公社龙玉大队，1984年设龙玉村委会，1991年改隶龙湖镇。[2]
抗战时期，村庄是革命基点村。[2]
人口民族[edit]
村里旅居台湾、香港、澳门及菲律宾的乡贤近四千人，是龙湖镇旅外侨胞重要的祖籍地。[2]
经济[edit]
村里以服装和拉链生产为主，有服装加工厂和拉链厂共32家，另有店铺11家。[1]
村内耕地种有甘薯、水稻、大豆、花生和甘蔗等作物。[2]
