南浔村位于龙湖镇东部沿海，在衙口滨海休闲度假旅游区之内，省道308线从村西侧穿过，是晋江市的革命老区基点村。[1][2][3]

村名的由来与施氏南迁有关；1961年以一条南北向的街道为界分成两个大队，至今仍沿此街为界。[2][3]

地名由来[edit]

宋时，施姓由河南光州一带南迁，在水涯江浔之处定居，最初称浔江、浔海。村南有古港道通海，遂以“南浔”为名。[2]

一说，施氏首迁浙江吴兴，后来分支拓居闽南，为纪念祖居地吴兴南浔，遂用此名。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

宋时属晋江县安仁乡弦歌里，元明清属十七、十八都；民国时设霞坡镇。[2]

新中国成立后，这里改设镇级建制；1958年撤镇设人民公社，划归龙湖公社。1961年，以纵贯南北的南浔街（振心街）为界划分两个大队，街西一片称和平大队（南浔）。[2]

1981年地名普查后，又恢复为龙湖公社的南浔大队；1984年起，村委会隶属龙湖乡，名为南浔村委会。[2]

人口民族[edit]

龙湖镇政府2021年公布的行政村信息载，村里常住4169人，外来人口462人，党员98名。[1]

经济[edit]

村里主要从事纺织化纤、服装和农业，辖区内有信诚化纤、信隆纺织等规模以上企业。[1]

村里还有益盛花生、永兴花生和豪味猪肉粕等农特产品品牌。[1]

名人与故里[edit]

龙湖镇政府的村情资料称，南浔是清代爱国将领施琅和“天下第一清官”施世纶的故里。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

长顺建筑群位于村中，是清代里人施至扇在台湾鹿港经营的商号所建；他经商致富后，于清光绪八年（1882年）回乡营建，包括大厝、公妈厅、当铺、通瀛书舍共四座建筑。[2][4]

2013年，福建省人民政府将其列为第八批省级文物保护单位；建筑群也是泉台商贸往来的见证。[4]

荣誉[edit]

2014年11月，南浔村列入第三批中国传统村落名录。[2]
