内坑村位于龙湖镇东北部，与石狮市杆头相邻，下辖内坑、新内坑两个自然村。[1][2]

村名因村址地势低洼，形如坑洼而得，元明时属晋江县十七都。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代属安仁乡弦歌里，明清时属十七、十八都，1944年改属霞坡乡新峰保。[2]

1961年时划归龙湖公社的一个大队；1985年另设内坑村委会，隶属龙湖乡，1991年改隶龙湖镇。[2]

人口民族[edit]

旧时村中以李、施、吴三姓为最多，其后裔分衍香港、菲律宾等地，现有旅港、旅菲的内坑同乡会。[1][2]

龙湖镇政府2021年公布的行政村信息载，村里常住1055人，外来人口151人，党员42名。[1]

经济[edit]

村里以农业为主，种有龙眼树约600亩，主要作物有甘薯、大豆和花生。[1]

村内企业多为服装厂，都是小微企业。[1]

社会事业[edit]

2015年村里设立慈善基金会，宗旨写作「兴教助学、扶贫济困」，同时推动移风易俗。[1]
