白垵村位于晋江与南安的交界处，是晋江的革命老区基点村。博雅地名网称，本村也是晋江最早的党支部之一。村辖白安、岐山、尖仔山三个自然村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

白垵古称卜地安、卜安。此地昔为宽阔的溪流，溪上舟楫往来，俗称晋南渡；湾口渡口在方言中也称垵。白姓最早在此建居，村名以卜地安谐称白地安，后因村落位于溪边渡口的垵地，简化为白垵。[1]

明清时属四都，民国三十三年（1944年）归亲民乡祥安保管辖。新中国成立后，1956年隶属内坑区天亮乡，1959年归安海公社天亮大队；1961年起由内坑公社统辖，设白垵大队。1984年起由乡统辖，1992年起由镇统辖。[1]

经济[edit]

村内以经营农土特产、滋补商品为主，另有陶瓷厂、建材厂等企业。[1]

文化[edit]

2022年12月，本村获「2022年福建省卫生村」称号，由福建省爱国卫生运动委员会命名。[1]
