亭顶村位于内坑镇政府西部，村落散布在数千株龙眼树之间，属革命老区基点村。村名来自旧时路边的一座路亭。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
此地早先名为牛皮岭，亦称厚皮岭。曾姓迁来后，因这里位于通往十三省大路的偏南一侧，路边设有路亭，供行人避雨歇脚，曾姓便在亭子上方繁衍成村，取亭顶之名（“上”与“顶”方言同音同义）。[1]
宋代属开建乡仁孝里，明清属六都；民国三十三年（1944年）归亲民乡山庄保管辖。新中国成立后，1956年隶属内坑区内坑乡；1961年起由内坑公社统辖，设亭顶大队。1984年起由乡统辖，1992年起由镇统辖。[1]
文化[edit]
2020年12月，本村被认定为「2020年泉州市中级版“绿盈乡村”」；2021年2月，入选「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单；2022年12月，本村获「2022年福建省卫生村」称号，由福建省爱国卫生运动委员会命名。[1]
