上方村位于内坑镇政府东北约2.5公里处，北与磁灶镇接壤，南面临双内公路。高速铁路泉州客运南站位于村西部。村内的上方张氏家庙为市级文物保护单位。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

上方村旧时有一座小丘名为芳山，村名曾称芳山村。因地势较高，又因芳与峰、邦谐音，村名先后称为上峰、上邦；芳与方同音，寓有上进之意，新中国成立后更名为上方。[1]

宋代属开建乡务本里，明清属泉州南门外四都上峰乡。民国三十三年归亲民乡祥安保管辖。新中国成立后，1956年隶属内坑区锦和乡；1961年起由内坑公社统辖，设上方大队。1984年起由乡统辖，1992年起由镇统辖。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

上方张氏家庙为宋代古建筑，市级文物保护单位。[2]

2020年9月、2021年10月和2022年10月，本村先后被列入淘宝村名单。[1]
