砌坑村在内坑镇西北部，早年为老革命基点村。据博雅地名网所载，本村是镇内规模最大的独立行政村。村内的尤氏宗祠是晋江市第一支农民革命武装队伍的诞生旧址。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

南宋末年（1279年），蔡姓人家在这片低洼之地肇基，起初称蔡坑。明代洪武三十年（1397年），尤氏一支迁入定居，尤姓人丁兴旺，其他姓氏陆续外迁，尤姓成为村中唯一的姓氏；村名按方言谐音改称砌坑。[1]

宋代属开建乡务本里，明清属四都；民国三十三年（1944年）归亲民乡丰田保管辖。新中国成立后，先后归第九区、内坑区天亮乡和安海公社天亮大队管辖；1961年起由内坑公社统辖，设自成砌坑大队。1984年起由乡统辖，1992年起由镇统辖。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

「晋江市第一支农民革命武装队伍诞生旧址——尤氏宗祠」位于本村。1933年8月，中共晋南县委委员尤大斧在此祠成立赤卫队，次年组建晋南武装队。20世纪80年代宗祠遭火灾，旧貌已失，后在原址按闽南宗祠样式重建。[2]

文化[edit]

2025年3月，本村被命名为「第七届全国文明村镇」；2024年2月，被确定为「第二批福建省乡村振兴示范村镇」创建对象；2024年10月，被确定为「泉州市2023年度市级“一村一品”专业村」，主导产业为蔬菜；2022年12月，本村获「2022年福建省卫生村」称号，由福建省爱国卫生运动委员会命名。[1]
