历史沿革[edit]
村名的来历是：土垵古称梅程。原住民为程姓，后南安梅岭的张姓迁来，两姓和睦相处，遂合称梅程。后因此地两侧土坡高、中间低凹如马鞍，方言中鞍与垵同音同义，村名改为土垵。[1]
明清时属四都，民国三十三年归亲民乡梅岭保管辖。建国后，1956年划入内坑；1959年隶属安海公社湖内大队；1961年起由内坑公社统辖，设自成土垵大队。1984年起由乡统辖，1992年起由镇统辖。[1][2]
经济[edit]
村内除农业外，以制鞋业为主要产业，另有纸箱、废品回收等企业。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
张弥皋墓位于土垵村灵源山麓，为宋代墓葬，市级文物保护单位。[3]
文化[edit]
2021年和2022年，本村先后入选淘宝村名单；2022年12月，本村获「2022年福建省卫生村」称号，由福建省爱国卫生运动委员会命名。[1]
