旧铺村位于池店镇西部，距镇政府约3公里。池店村在其东，潘湖村在其南，仕春村在其西，北面则是泉州经济技术开发区。[2]村内有新铺、后岭和旧铺三个自然村，以旧铺为主村，共6个村民小组。[2]

地名由来[edit]

古时驿道官路每十里设一铺，村落建在曾设铺处的旧地上，因而得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时隶三十五都；1944年改属碧山乡下辖的风山保。[1]

荣誉[edit]

旧铺村于2024年1月被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]该村于2021年6月被命名为「2020年度晋江市平安村（社区）」，为三星级。[1]
