柴塔村位于池店镇东部，东邻御辇村，南隔高渠溪与清濛开发区相连，北与桥南社区相接，村内只有柴塔一个自然村，下分6个村民小组。[2]村名因村中曾有一座木塔而得。[1]

地名由来[edit]

北宋治平二年，此地建起一座木塔，塔后倒塌；南宋嘉泰年间重建，又倒。明天启七年复建，清初木塔毁坏后不再重建，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期，柴塔村属三十四都。1944年划入四维乡雁翔保。[1]新中国成立后，1956年隶池店区御辇乡，1959年归苏厝公社清蒙大队，1961年改属池店公社紫塔大队，1984年设柴塔村委会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

柴塔蔡光楷宅为清代古建筑，列入「第四次全国文物普查新发现未定级不可移动文物第一批名录」。该村另有苏清河洋楼、蔡长寿洋楼、蔡恩典兄弟洋楼、蔡尚仁洋楼和黄清南宅等近现代建筑。[3]

荣誉[edit]

柴塔村于2024年1月被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]
