池店村是池店镇下辖的行政村，地处泉州市区南部，西北侧与泉州科技工业区相邻，下辖田洋、砌坑两个自然村。[4]该村也是革命老区行政村。[2]村名“池店”由元代旧称“凤池”演变而来，据博雅地名网所载，明末清初乡中富商李五在凤池旁设店经营，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期，池店村属二十九都。民国33年（1944年）属碧山乡龙凤保。新中国成立后，1956年归池店乡，1959年属苏厝公社池店大队，1961年改属池店公社，1984年改设池店村委会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

池店埕头林氏宗祠始建于明嘉靖年间，现存建筑为民国时期修建，保留了明清时期的构件，2019年列入第六批市级文物保护单位。[3]博雅地名网在本村条目下还记有李昭璜故居、李约斋墓、池店印度教石刻和池店石经幢，均作为市级文物保护单位。[1]

荣誉[edit]

池店村于2024年1月被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]该村在2020年和2022年两次入选淘宝村名单。[1]
