山苏村位于金井镇北部，北面隔湖流沟（乌漏沟）与深沪镇相邻，东临埔宅村，南与新市村相依，距金井镇政府驻地约3公里[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
村名的来历：相传宋代有苏姓秀才为女儿在宅中修筑梳妆楼，「梳妆」与「苏庄」音近，村名由此而来[1]。
明清时郭、安、柯、陈、施、庄等姓曾在一带定居，今村中仅施、安两姓有住户[1]。
地理环境[edit]
截至2008年，村辖区面积1629亩，共602户、2343人。全村分为沟顶、新乡、中寮、后寮、五块寮、枪寮六个片区[2]。
文化[edit]
2021年6月，山苏村被命名为「2020年度晋江市平安村（社区）」[1]。
