岩峰村位于晋江市南端的围头半岛上，省道308线南北贯穿村域，沿海大通道东西穿村而过[1]。村名来自村中所辖自然村所在的山坡，那一带围绕着西资岩石佛[1][2]。

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期归十四都管辖。民国33年（1944年）归金井镇西资保管辖，1956年隶属金井区山海乡，1961年划为金井公社的岩峰大队，1984年起设金井镇岩峰村委会[1]。村辖东营、官兜、上清、石兜、陈厝5个自然村[1]。

人口民族[edit]

截至2008年，村中常住人口1900人、600户，外出定居者约400人。村中姓氏较多，有蔡、陈、范、吴、勤、谢、王、张、李、黄等[1]。

名胜古迹[edit]

西资岩石佛造像在村域内，是依崖凿造的石佛群，主尊为阿弥陀佛，两侧为观音和大势至，列为「全国重点文物保护单位」[2][3]。
