历史沿革[edit]
村名原为许安，早先村民多姓许。因闽南语中“许”与“古”音同，许姓人丁不旺，遂改名古安[1]。现村中以黄、陈两姓居多[1]。
明清时期归十五都管辖，民国33年（1944年）划入深沪镇龙安保。1956年隶属金井区运伙乡，1959年并入金井公社运伙大队，1961年分立为古安大队，1984年起称金井镇古安村委会[1][2]。
人口民族[edit]
截至2010年，村中有人口1821人、512户。姓氏中以黄、陈、苏、吴、施较为多见，坑西自然村则以蔡、黄、王、吴、洪为主[1]。
