浔光村位于深沪镇东南部，距镇政府所在地6千米，西南与金井镇山苏村相邻，北面是华山村，东面为华海村。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

先祖迁来时屋子只有一间，故称旧房寮；后来，村名取自本村浔光小学的校名。[1]

1961年起属深沪公社华山大队，1981年另称深沪公社浔光大队，1984年设为浔光村委会。[1]

村域面积约1.5平方千米。[1]
