群峰村位于深沪镇西北隅，北侧紧邻英深公路，距晋江市区35多千米，村域面积2.7平方千米，辖有七个自然村。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村原称沙岗内七合寮，因七个自然村合成一片而得名。建村后取「群」字寓意聚集成群，并保留自华峰分出时带来的「峰」字，定名群峰。[1]

1944年为深沪镇华峰乡辖地；1959年归金井公社华峰大队，1962年从华峰划出，另成一个大队；1984年设群峰村委会。[1]
