狮峰社区位于镇区中心一带，西面濒临海湾沙滩，北靠圣殿山，东边与东海垵开发区相接，土地面积1.4平方千米。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
此地原叫青屿，取义于一处礁石：古时海水涨潮会淹至田螺山下的青色大礁石，故有此称。居民后来逐渐北迁，青屿又因居于半岛金狮状地形之首，改称狮头；民国时的保名为醒狮，新中国成立后雅化为狮峰。[1]
1984年改为狮峰村委会，1993年撤村建居，2005年改为狮峰社区居民委员会。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
社区内的节孝流芳坊为清代建筑，属市级文物保护单位。[1][3]
