南春社区位于深沪半岛南部，是镇里经济、文化与交通的要地，面积0.8平方千米。社区传统上以渔业文化为特色，工业以内衣制造为主。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

社区原名「南伸」，据说因民居不断向南延伸而得名；后因航海商船南北往来，「南伸」改为「南春」，寓意南国再生春。[1]

南宋年间已有南春之称，清代属十六都。1944年属深沪乡南春保，建国后归金井区深沪乡南春大队，1966年曾称阳光大队，1975年复名南春。1984年设南春村居委会，2006年改为社区居委会。[1]

烟墩山顶有烟墩山烽火台，即博雅地名网所称晋江烽火台遗址，为明代抗倭遗址，属市级文物保护单位。[1][4]
