璧山社区位于深沪半岛、深沪湾东岸，背山临海，是深沪渔业中心渔港所在地。社区土地总面积1.3平方千米。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

社区名称与唐末文人罗隐有关：据载他游历闽地时见壁石山高峻，分别题写「壁山」「深沪」四字。此地原名山头，后改「壁」为「璧」，寓意珠联璧合。[1]

明清时属十六都，1944年属深沪镇义昌保。1956年属金井区深沪镇，1984年改为深沪镇璧山居委会，2005年改为社区居委会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

社区内有璧山崖刻，为明代石刻，属市级文物保护单位。境内另有保生大帝（大道公）庙、水仙王公，以及古深沪对外联系通道「壁山栈道」，并有鲟鱼箍石。[1][2]

文化[edit]

2021年6月，社区被命名为「2020年度晋江市平安村（社区）」，评为四星级。[1]
