柯村位于东石镇南部。东面与金泽村为邻，南面紧接三乡村，西面是清透村，北面与永和镇周坑村相接。[1]
地名由来[edit]
宋代本邑南塘乡的柯氏进士柯云从，于宝佑年间佃租土地置仓于廒里，周边人称「柯家仓库」，后简称柯仓，演变为柯村。[2]
人口与经济[edit]
全村461户、1794人，外出人口占四成以上。外出人员多从事石材加工、电子等经商行业，或务工。[1]
沿革[edit]
新中国成立后归晋江县英南乡；1958年划入东石公社，成为柯村大队；1979年改为村委会。[2]
